As part of the its ongoing support to the community and the environment; The Sultan Center has taken part in the KidZania “Kids for a Greener World Program 2016” which was launched on March 24th and is ongoing till May 7th at KidZania – The Avenues Mall.
The event is designed to provide children with hands-0n- experience while learning the importance of taking care of the environment in which they live. The Greener World program has a number of activities which children can engage in; one of these activities is Vita’s Garden, where children have the opportunity to develop a new skill and experience gardening first hand.
TSC’s prime objective is empowering children with a general knowledge about preserving the environment in which they live. The Vita’s Garden activity helps children understand how to plant seeds, tend to the soil to make plants grow and understand where their fresh food comes from. Gardening can also help children improve their attitude about fresh vegetables which can contribute to making more healthy food choices.
