Driven by its commitment to constantly develop its people, The Sultan Center (TSC) has recently celebrated the graduation of its talented managers who have joined the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) Level 7 Certification and Development training program. The graduation ceremony was held at Wok Hay restaurant (one of TSC Group of Restaurants) in the presence of Victor Suarez TSC’s Chief Executive Officer for Retail and member of Board of Directors and Hani Ismael – Group Human Resources Director for TSC along with the graduates and representatives of TSC management.
As Victor Suarez/CEO at TSC congratulated TSC’s managers for their hard work and dedication, he confirmed that through ILM development training courses, TSC is in the process of preparing its managerial staff to be the next generation decision makers and top executives.

Suarez elaborated that to obtain and sustain market leadership, a market leader must ensure its operating model renders Operating Cash-flow sustainably, while to be highly effective in retail implies high doses of sacrifice, resilience, hard work and strict discipline.

Addressing the graduates at the ceremony, Hani Ismael – Group HR Director at TSC said: “At TSC, people development is at the core of our Human Resource strategy, this has always been the TSC way of building capabilities, since 2004 when we started investing in MBA and Executive MBA programs with world class business schools. Each and every TSC associate we invested in is very valuable to TSC and we certainly appreciate their caliber and continuous contribution towards the growth and success of our company”.
Ismael elaborated that ILM was selected as the platform for TSC managers’ development because it’s Europe’s market leader and UK’s largest awarding body for leadership and management qualifications. TSC believes that this course will boost managers’ personal portfolio as well as help them to add more value to TSC today and in the future.
TSC managers who have been enrolled in ILM Level 7 program, experienced 15 straight months of work based projects, combining traditional seminars with e-learning, personal coaching with workplace mentoring, the program focused on key aspects of Leadership, Management, Change Strategy and Risk while preparing each graduate to excel in the fast moving business environment at TSC.
The ceremony further celebrated the endorsement of TSC as the ILM Approved Center & Recognized Provider. “With this achievement we can now deliver popular leadership and management qualifications that can be specifically adapted to TSC’s needs and provides employees with internationally-recognized learning and development programs, all endorsed by ILM-branded certificates”, stated Ismael. Another advantage is that all course content, delivery methods and trainers are approved by ILM to ensure an exceptional learning experience.
