We all have special skills that are developed and nurtured.
Understanding people is our business. From customers, colleagues, to communities and what matters to them, and then trying to make those things better, is what Sultan stands for. It’s about listening to people and talking to them. By using all the tools at our disposal, from data analytics that help us understand shopping behaviors, to social media listening tools, to staff insights that help create a better work environment, at Sultan we enact by changing and innovating to meet both our customer and staff needs.
We are proud to say that we are a retailer that is passionate about developing our people skills through the Schools of Excellence. Providing our employees an unrivalled schooling experience, we launched eight different training schools covering various areas in our stores to deliver the highest standards in customer service.
In each of the schools of Butchery, Fishery, Bakery, Deli, Produce, Supermarket, E-Commerce, and front end, we are setting international standards of health and safety. The aim is to train our employees and educate them on the variety of products and services we offer to impart this expertise to our customers.
We strive to abide by our commitment to remain pioneers in our field. With the employee journeying through the different levels of the various training schools, they will be eligible to provide our customers with the ultimate shopping experience.
Sultan is about exceptional quality that begins with our people learning the highest customer service standards that the discerning customers expect when shopping with us. The Center of Excellence program is a cross regional function that helps nurture our employees career ambitions and guarantees growth from within the organization. We know that looking after our colleagues in a culture of trust and respect is essential to the success of Sultan. Where colleagues feel recognized and rewarded, where they have the opportunity to get on and where they are supported in their development, they in turn try their hardest for customers.
