The Sultan Center (TSC) announces that it is now an approved centre with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), a UK-based organization that helps companies raise the professional standards of their managers through learning and development programs based on unique business requirements. They are the European market leader and the UK’s largest awarding body for leadership and management qualifications. Through a quality-assured network of over 2,500 approved learning providers throughout the world, they help over 90,000 individuals each year.

As an ILM-accredited center, TSC can deliver popular leadership and management qualifications that can be specifically adapted to the company’s needs, thus providing its employees with internationally-recognized learning and development programs, all backed by ILM-branded certificates. All course content, delivery methods and trainers are approved by ILM to ensure a high quality learning experience. Learners will also have access to an extensive online database of ILM materials.

Hani Ismael, Human Resource Director for TSC stated that: “We are committed to promoting future leaders from within our existing stores by recognizing individuals for their performance and managing their talents to retain knowledge and experience within the company. We believe in our employees and want to give them opportunities to flourish professionally. Through investing in top-notch personal development programs, not only will they benefit but so will the company as a whole.”

As an Approved Centre, TSC can deliver the following recognized programs:

  • Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management
  • Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management
  • Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management

TSC will be offering four ILM recognized in-house retail career development training courses which will provide employees with essential technical and behavioural skills that can be transferred directly into their work environment. These include Becoming a Supervisor (BAS), Becoming a Manager (BAM), Becoming a Customer Service Manager (BACSM), and Becoming a Duty Manager (BADM) – each programme is designed to develop specific skill levels depending on job responsibilities within TSC.

Not only will attendees benefit from the knowledge of leadership and management experts, they will also emerge with industry-wide recognition of their achievements. Upon completion of these programs, participants will receive ILM certificates demonstrating their accomplishments.

TSC always endeavors to play an important role in the community in which it operates and believe that a good place to start is from within the company itself.
